Jerry’s Artarama Hosts 14th Annual Art of the Carolinas Nov. 14-16

Nation’s Largest Art Trade Show and Workshops Features Family Fun and Showcases Southeast’s Best Artists

Raleigh, NC, October 23, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Jerry’s Artarama, a nationwide retailer of art supplies and materials based in Raleigh, will host the 14th annual Art of the Carolinas trade show on Friday, Nov. 13 and Saturday, Nov. 14 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free family-friendly event will be held at the Hilton North Raleigh/Midtown, located at 2415 Wake Forest Road. Artist workshops, which are available to participants for a one-time fee of $15, will begin Thursday, Nov. 13 at 9 a.m. and continue throughout the weekend.

Art of the Carolinas offers more than 100 workshops for art enthusiasts of all ages from professionals from around the country, covering nearly every artistic medium. Attendees can enjoy instruction on acrylics, drawing, encaustics, journaling, mixed media, oils and pastels, figure painting, mat cutting, water-soluble oils, watercolors and lectures. The trade show includes a wide range of vendors offering high quality art supplies at bargain prices, as well as demonstrations from the artists themselves. Artists and returning instructors include Bob Burridge, Paul McCormack, Suzanna Winton, and Joe Digiulio. Those interested in attending a workshop are encouraged to sign up quickly as spots are running out.

Art of the Carolinas is the country’s largest consumer art supply trade show, covering more than 30,000 square feet. The trade show will feature many of the art materials industry’s top vendors, who will demo and provide samples of a variety of art supplies.
