Alive Juices Partners with Tigerlily Foundation

Washington, DC, November 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Nutritional juice company Alive Juices is excited to partner with the Tigerlily Foundation to help raise funds, awareness and healthy drink options. Through this partnership, Alive Juices will work with Tigerlily and its Ambassadors to educate young women about the benefits of "mindful" nutrition, and promoting a healthy, preventative lifestyle. Alive Juices will also provide juices to Tigerlily Foundation's young breast cancer survivors at local and national events.

Effective November 1, 2014, Alive Juices will also donate proceeds from each of its drinks sold to the Tigerlily Foundation. In addition, it will work with brand Ambassadors of the Tigerlily Foundation, Paul Wharton, of DC 50; Maggy Francois, event planner and breast cancer survivor, Bershan Shaw of Oprah Winfrey Network's (OWN) Love in the City, and Michelle Gloden Schoenfeld, business owner, philanthropist and breast cancer survivor, to engage the community in learning about the health benefits of juicing, detoxing and nutrition.

The Tigerlily Foundation is a non-profit organization that educates, advocates for and supports young women 15-40 years old -before, during and after breast cancer. Tigerlily Foundation's programs includee education, chemotherapy buddy programs, buddy bag programs, financial assistance, meals, life management support and empowerment services.

Alive Juices, named 2014 Best Organic Food Delivered to Your Door by Best of DC, was started by Rachan Malhotra when his father became ill. Rachan began to change his father's nutrition by giving him fresh, Ayurveda-based juices that were made at home. Within a few months his father was on his way to recovery.
