TeachBits.com Announces “Let’s Talk Turkey” Contest for Teachers

Share classroom materials you use everyday and win

Winter Park, FL, November 06, 2007 --(PR.com)-- TeachBits.com, a division of leading e-learning solution provider InfoSource, Inc., today announced the “Let’s Talk Turkey!” contest, to encourage authors and teachers to share their electronic-format lesson plans and enrichment resources and to try out Web-based lesson-creation and lesson-plan authoring tools.

After submitting three lesson plans or other classroom resources, the educator will be automatically entered to win one of three iPod Shuffles. Teachers can choose to either self-publish items and make them available for sale on the site, or to offer their materials to teachers at large as free resources.

“Teachers love to share,” says TeachBits founder Michael Werner. “We want to do as much as we can to encourage teachers to share what they use in their classroom every day with other teachers, to aid in the spread of creative ideas for instruction and interaction. The materials that have been posted at TeachBits so far have been extremely well-received by other teachers, and we’re excited to see even more of what teachers are working with in their classrooms.”

In addition to lesson plans, some of the many different types items teachers have been sharing on TeachBits.com include enrichment worksheets, PowerPoint presentations, interactive games, charts, experiments, reference materials and interactive lessons created with the easy-to-use TeachBits Content Authoring Tool.
