Etkin Johnson Completes 50,000 SF Lease with WhiteWave Foods at New CTC Spec Building

Etkin Johnson Real Estate Partners announced it has executed a 50,324-square-foot lease with WWF Operating Company, also known as The WhiteWave Foods Company, at its newly-constructed speculative industrial building at 1900 Cherry Street in Louisville, CO. This is the first signed lease for the 66,350-square-foot facility that kicked off vertical construction this spring in Colorado Technology Center. The lease will commence March 1, 2015.

Denver, CO, November 06, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Etkin Johnson Real Estate Partners, Colorado’s leader in commercial real estate development, announced today it has executed a 50,324-square-foot lease with WWF Operating Company, also known as The WhiteWave Foods Company, at its newly-constructed speculative industrial building at 1900 Cherry Street in Louisville, CO. This is the first signed lease for the 66,350-square-foot facility that kicked off vertical construction this spring in Colorado Technology Center. The lease will commence March 1, 2015.

The WhiteWave Foods Company, a leading consumer packaged food and beverage company leases space in another Etkin Johnson-owned and managed building in Broomfield, making the strong existing relationship a key contributor to the successful lease execution.

WhiteWave will utilize the Louisville facility primarily for food preparation, research and testing. The state-of-the-art industrial/flex building, located on the southwest corner of CTC Boulevard and Cherry Street was completed in early September by Etkin Johnson. The property features 24-foot clear ceiling heights, 11 truck docks, two drive-in doors, heavy power and sustainable design elements to minimize environmental impact. Green building features include low-E glass, a GenFlex cool roof system, an energy-efficient HVAC system, strategically placed skylights, LED site lighting and electronic-vehicle charging stations for use by occupants and visitors.

WhiteWave’s new location will enable the company to remain in Boulder County, an important component of its brand, while expanding its operations and benefitting from CTC’s strategic location in the Northwest corridor, one of the most vibrant regions for business growth in the Front Range.

Access to CTC is provided directly off the Northwest Parkway via US 36. Close proximity to Boulder and Denver provides an excellent balance of business support services and quality of life considerations in one of the most sought after locations in the area.

The limited number of availabilities currently range from 15,358 square feet up to 136,701 square feet.
