sci-Shot Launches Public Safety App at the Jake Owen Foundation Benefit Concert

sci-Shot, a Public Safety Mobile App company, was a Platinum Sponsor for the 8th Annual Jake Owen Foundation Benefit Concert on October 25, 2014 in Holman Stadium at Historic Dodgertown. Jake Owen’s annual charity concert benefits Autism Speaks, Boys & Girls Club of Indian River County, Hibiscus Children’s Center, Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation, and St. Jude Children’s research Hospital.

Plantation, FL, November 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- "Like Jake Owen, sci-Shot believes in supporting its community through charitable donations and hands-on work," said Anita Byer, sci-Shot’s Founder. sci-Shot provided their Revolutionary Public Safety Mobile App as a courtesy to safeguard Jake’s event, inaugurating the use of the App at public venues.

Prior to entering the field where Jake’s concert was held, sci-Shot’s team was there to encourage attendees to download sci-Shot to share pictures and video of unsafe or threatening conditions or conduct. sci-Shot monitored all Media and Comments sent by the Crowd, and was present to notify security of tensions or other conditions that needed to be addressed. sci-Shot played an important role at the Jake Owen Foundation Benefit Concert, adding thousands of eyes and potential eyewitnesses to ensure everyone’s safety, making them able to download from the wee-bit curious to the obvious.

sci-Shot also presented lucky winner, Jessica McCorkel of Danridge, Tennessee, with two (2) VIP Front Row tickets to the Jake Owen Benefit Concert. Participants entered the contest by downloading sci-Shot’s App and registering as a User.

Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2014, sci-Shot will be providing its Public Safety Mobile App, once again, to a charitable cause, the Turkey Trot & Paddle in Fort Lauderdale, Florida which benefits Leadership Broward Foundation, Inc. and iTrace Foundation, Inc. The Turkey Trot supports leadership development training and education about healthy living. For more information, visit their website at www.turkeytrotftl.com.

sci-Shot encourages and empowers App Users to confidentially and anonymously share their pictures, videos, and comments of unsafe or threatening events, conditions or conduct, and provides a channel to deliver and preserve real-time eyewitness accounts. At Turkey Trot, participants will be encouraged to share Media they collect along their way that causes concern. From the downed trotter to road hazards or unsafe conditions, sci-Shot is certain to be a wonderful addition to this annual event.
