Intermatic Introduces the "checkfrank (TM)" Configurator for MultiWave (TM) Pool and Spa Controls

Spring Grove, IL, November 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Intermatic, a leader in energy management solutions, today introduced checkfrank™, an innovative web-based configurator for easy customization and installation of Intermatic’s market-leading MultiWave™ Wireless Control Systems for pool and spa control.

The first web-based configurator on the market, checkfrank can be accessed by computer, smart phone or tablet, giving installers immediate access from anywhere to product recommendations, installation guides and wiring diagrams.

“checkfrank allows installers to build a system to the customers’ needs in no time,” says Ed Lang, Product Manager, Intermatic. “checkfrank™ determines what products are needed for pool and spa controls and provides product recommendations and wiring diagrams, right on site, right at the installer’s fingertips.”

checkfrank supports installation of Intermatic’s newly upgraded MultiWave pool and spa control systems. The MultiWave Expanded Control System (ECS) and Expanded Control System Plus now include the P5043ME Expansion Module that provides ultimate control versatility for new construction or retrofit installations.

The Expansion Module provides much broader control capabilities, including two heaters, most popular name brand variable speed pumps, four valves and solar heating and cooling. “It allows you to control many more applications, not just the basics,” Lang explains. “It’s an easy and affordable way to automatically control pools, spas, lights, heaters, and more.”

MultiWave Wireless Control Systems conveniently integrate with home automation devices that use Z-wave wireless control technology. The ECS and ECS Plus systems feature a remote switch capability that initiates multiple events simultaneously, with the flip of a switch.

The MultiWave ECS system is designed to be an easy, affordable upgrade for pools currently using mechanical timers. The MultiWave ECS Plus enables ultimate control capability and has a built-in 300W transformer for low-voltage requirements. Visit checkfrank.com to access the new MultiWave selection tool.
