Jumpbunch Now Being Offered at Over 20 Public Libraries Throughout Long Island

Long Island Libraries are helping kids stay active and fit all year round by bringing in JumpBunch programs for toddlers to teens. Every time JumpBunch visits a library they introduce children to a new sport. Best of all, Library programs for children are free to community members, so you just can’t beat that price! JumpBunch programs are for children ages 18 months to 12 years of age. Classes are divided up by age and the youngest class, 18 months to 35 months, requires parent participation.

Sports at the local library? That’s right, Long Island Libraries are helping kids stay active and fit all year round by bringing in JumpBunch programs for toddlers to teens. Some of the libraries that JumpBunch of Southeast Long Island services are: Center Moriches Library, West Islip Library, Mattituck Library, North Shore Library, Longwood Library, Middle Country Library, Connetquat Library, Levittown Library, Island Park Library, West Babylon Library, Roger Memorial Library, Farmingdale Library and many more.

JumpBunch programs are for children ages 18 months to 12 years of age. Classes are divided up by age and the youngest class, 18 months to 35 months, requires parent participation. JumpBunch even offers programs for those hard to please pre-teens.

Owner, operator, Winkie Schultz says “Kids and parents just can’t get enough of JumpBunch. All programs are non-competitive and fun. We bring child friendly equipment and fun games and drills. It is our hope to develop a love of the game in all children.”

JumpBunch themes programs seasonally. In January football is introduced, just in time for Super Bowl! In March they bring in basketball for March Madness and in April it’s spring training and baseball is the sport of the month. Summer months are volleyball and track and field games. They even run family fun days at local libraries!
