Online Company Fights Back Against Early Black Friday Sales

Online retail watch company Bathys Hawaii has decided to fight against the trend towards early Black Friday Sales by increasing their prices 100% for Thanksgiving Day.

Kapaa, HI, November 22, 2014 --(PR.com)-- One company is protesting against the recent trend of making Black Friday Sales start early by raising their prices on Thanksgiving Day.

Online retail watch company Bathys Hawaii has decided to increase their prices by 100% for Thanksgiving Day only. Company Owner and Founder John Patterson says, “Thanksgiving is a time for families to be together - not a time to load up and head to the mall and go shopping. We’re losing sight of what’s important in life and these companies who start Black Friday on Thanksgiving are part of the problem.”

Therefore to protest these sales Patterson has decided to raise the prices on his website by 100% for all of Thanksgiving Day. A watch that normally sells for $445 will be $890 “One day only!” jokes Patterson. He says he’ll return his prices to normal on Friday and will offer a “small discount” to his customers.

Bathys Hawaii is a small watch atelier based in Hawaii, USA. Recently they made news as it released the world’s first wristwatch to contain an actual cesium atomic clock and had a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund production.
