Teams Ready to Battle for $1,500 Top Prize at 2014 Butterfly Thanksgiving Teams Tournament

Wilson, NC, November 30, 2014 --(PR.com)-- While most of America spent Thanksgiving cooking up a family meal that would leave friends and family stuffed, the participants of the 2014 Butterfly Thanksgiving Teams Tournament were busy mentally and physically preparing for the competition. Many participants in the event will travel from around the Midwest and beyond to come together as friends but also competitors this weekend. Midwestern friendliness will be on display, as tournament director Danny Seemiller has always focused on putting the players needs first. With 16 teams signed up, this Thanksgiving Teams tournament will be a great place to meet up with old friends and make lasting new friendships.

Tournament play will begin on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. CST with preliminary matches. The teams will then be separated into 2 round robin groups of 8, where they will play every other team in a best 5 out of 9 match format. Play will wrap up at 4:00 p.m. Saturday with the first place team taking home $1,500 in prize money (2nd place will receive $1,000 and 3rd place will receive $500). Other top finishers will receive beautiful trophies for their hard earned success at this weekend’s event.
