LTG Raymond Palumbo to Keynote Defense Strategies Institute's 2015 Automated ISR Symposium

Defense Strategies Institute is pleased to announce the dates of its 3rd annual Automated ISR Symposium taking place February 24-25, 2015 in Alexandria, VA.

Alexandria, VA, December 12, 2014 --(PR.com)-- LTG Raymond Palumbo, Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Warfighter Support and Director of the DoD's ISR Task Force, will keynote Defense Strategies Institute's 2015 Automated ISR Symposium. The Symposium will focus on automating and integrating ISR data for robust intelligence production.

General Palumbo will discuss OSD strategy to deliver required ISR capacity and capability to the Warfighter with an emphasis on integrating and fusing intelligence across sensors and platforms and utilizing ISR assets to compensate for drawdown in manpower.

The 2015 Automated ISR Symposium will focus on areas of analysis that are most suitable for automation to increase efficiency. The event will also focus on IC integration efforts including the IC Information Technology Enterprise and novel approaches to intelligence such as activity based intelligence to provide quicker, more actionable intelligence. Data sensor fusion across platforms is critical to increasing ISR capacity and capability particularly when funding is not being increased.
