NIS and the Patchogue Y Are Proud to Announce the Opening of a New Inclusion Class at the Patchogue Y
The New Interdisciplinary School (NIS), a not for profit pre-school in Yaphank, has joined efforts with the Patchogue Y in opening a new inclusion class for preschoolers with and without special needs.
Yaphank, NY, December 18, 2014 --(PR.com)-- NIS is a New York State approved provider of preschool special education that has been serving children and their families, with and without disabilities from birth to five years old since 1976. NIS teachers and therapists are certified and licensed in their respective fields. NIS’s new half-day inclusion class at the Patchogue Y will be team taught by a special education teacher and an early childhood teacher, who will be assisted by a paraprofessional. The Patchogue Y is a state-of-the-art, full-service facility which will offer both typically developing and special needs children the opportunity to learn with and from each other.
