One-Year Anniversary of Reclaimed Lumber Line of Products

Fort Worth Pallets celebrates first year of offering recycled lumber products to creative minds.

Fort Worth, TX, January 06, 2015 --(PR.com)-- It was exactly a year ago that Fort Worth Pallets operations and administrative managers met and brainstormed ideas for a new line of product in a not-so-exciting recycling facility. While sitting at a table made from a stack of pallets, a heated discussion of pallet furniture trend and pallet wood DYI projects came up.

In general, a recycled wood pallet is a wonderful product: it offers a cost-effective solution to a company that ships merchandise one-way, it is structurally sound and reliable, and it offers a green practice by keeping less wood waste from landfills. However, recycling wood pallets creates smaller pieces of lumber that do not always have a high demand on the shipping market.

To make the story short, January 5, marks the first full year of reclaimed pallet lumber sales. After many accent walls, church stages, drama theater props, office coffee rooms, road signs, front yard decorations, patio furniture pieces, green houses, cat and dog houses --- reclaimed pallet timber has found its way into everyday people's lives from Fort Worth Pallets to all over the USA. These innovative minds proudly shared with the community their unique pallet wood creations and helped keep Earth green at the same time.
