Voting is Open for the 2015 Cribsie Awards

Parents Choose Winning Products from 165 Finalists in the Baby World; New Vote to Donate Campaign Revealed

New York, NY, January 16, 2015 --(PR.com)-- StrollerTraffic.com, the weekly email for city moms with kids under 3, along with co-host The Baby Guy and presenting sponsor Babyganics, today announced the voting period is open for the 2015 Cribsie Awards, which recognize the best products, services, and websites for babies and tots. The voting period for the 4th annual Cribsie Awards will run through January 30, 2015.

A yearly platform for a passionate community of parents to applaud their favorite parenting tools, the Cribsie Awards invite the public to cast their votes and select winners from 165 finalists for 50 different Cribsie awards, with 10 awards each across five core categories: Fashion, Mealtime, Nursery, Play, and Gear. Awards include “Hippiest High Chair,” “Best Alternative To Plastic Baggies,” “Snuggliest Swaddles,” and “Best Bath Toys.”

"At Babyganics, we believe in providing parents with the products and information to help them create a baby-safe world, allowing their little ones to explore, thrive and grow boldly. The Cribsies do a great job helping moms and dads navigate all their parenting options out there to make decisions based on parent-approved choices," said Lindsay Joyce of Babyganics. "That’s why we’re thrilled to be the presenting sponsor of the 2015 Cribsies."

In addition to the general awards, the Cribsies also announced the 2014 New Arrivals, which represent 100 of the best new products brought to market in the US last year. This leg of the Cribsies will be judged by the Cribsie Academy, comprising well-regarded experts across the baby and parenting field. New Arrivals rated a 3.5 out of 5 across four judging criteria – design, utility, marketability and innovation – will be designated as Academy Stars.

Vote to Donate Campaign: This year, the Cribsie Awards is thrilled to partner with four top brands for its new Vote to Donate campaign, where voters can allocate their votes toward one of four charitable donations to benefit women and children in need. Seventh Generation has pledged to donate up to 100,000 diapers (one diaper per vote) to the Committee on Temporary Shelter and The Diaper Train; Plum Organics has pledged to donate up to 50,000 baby food pouches (one pouch per 3 votes) to Convoy of Hope and Homeless Prenatal Project; and Earth Mama Angel Baby® has pledged to donate 2,500 bottles of Earth Mama Body Butter (one bottle per 5 votes) to expecting mothers in need, and HALO Innovations has pledged to donate up to $10,000 (one dollar per vote) to safe-sleep organizations. All donations will be made to the brand-selected charities upon completion of the awards season.

Both the 2015 Cribsie Awards winners and the New Arrival Academy Stars will be announced on the Cribsies website, www.cribsieawards.com, on March 2, 2015.
