As a board member, DiLeone will play a larger role within the organization helping it to continue to grow in its hunger relief efforts. The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle alleviates hunger in the community by developing programs to discover, prepare and distribute food to the poor, undernourished and homeless.

The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is a nationally recognized non-profit organization serving seven counties in North Carolina. Since its inception in 1989, the food rescue outfit has grown from a small grassroots movement operating out of the back of a station wagon to a nationally renowned authority in the area of perishable food recovery and hunger relief.
