Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 22, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- The stars shone brighter over Doha as mamemo productions created spectacular events for Qatar Airways, the host of the 70th International Air Transport Association Annual General Meeting (IATA AGM) in mid-2014.
The experience started with an intimate dinner for the Board of Governors at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha. Leaders of the global airline industry were treated to a feast of the senses capped by performances of soul singer Nashon Halloway and the elegant String Angels.
The gathering of around 1000 industry leaders and media opened with a spectacular firework – mamemo’s jaw dropping symphony of pyro, in the gardens of The Ritz-Carlton. For the opening night, mamemo transformed the tennis courts of The Ritz-Carlton into an arabic courtyard. The stage and screen setup was complemented with a computer controlled 15m wide and 8m high water curtain and fountain, creating magically projected ambient scenarios. The opening night ended with a high powered performance by Grammy award-winning star, Kelly Rowland.
For the Gala Dinner, set at the Grand Hyatt Doha, mamemo created a dynamic three-dimensional stage concept. The highlight of the evening was mamemo’s impressive signature show “Sentio: Manifesting a Destination – Qatar”, which dramatically encapsulated the essence of the country through the fusion of vibrant performance, striking imagery and theatrical music. To cap this memorable event, mamemo brought legendary superstar Kylie Minogue onstage to lead the international audience into a timeless musical journey.
mamemo productions also designed and produced the Qatar Airways Exhibition Stand, which was placed in the ballroom foyer of the Ritz-Carlton.
Sam Katiela, Managing & Creative Director of mamemo productions said ‘It was a great opportunity to showcase our creativity and the quality of our work to world leaders in the aviation business. To have presented Qatar Airways to this global audience is an honor, and we thank them for choosing us to develop, produce and organize the mega events throughout the 3 days.’
