Inttranews Archives Now Contain More Than 25,000 Reports

Rouen, France, November 14, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The on-line archives of Inttranews, the leading news service for the language industry worldwide, now contain more than 25,000 searchable reports – providing the perfect marketing and research resource for the translation industry.

Using state-of-the-art search technology combined with language-based rules and in-house translators to edit the results, the trilingual news site publishes excerpts from 24 relevant articles each working day. Each report includes an HTML link to the source, thereby respecting publishers' copyright and driving traffic to their sites, enabling linguists to keep abreast of all the events and issues of interest or concern to them at a glance.

Out of the 25,000 reports available, more than 7,750 reports concern translation issues, over 4,250 are on interpreting, more than 2,500 reports are on language research, more than 2,200 are on new translation and interpretation technology, and some 1,700 reports concern sign language.

For business purposes, calls for tender worth more than €350 million were reported on the site in 2006 alone, and the archives currently contain more than 2,600 business reports.

The archives are fully accessible to subscribers, and are searchable by key word on-line. Reports are currently available in English, French and Spanish with articles specific to each language version. Other language versions of the news site are scheduled for launch in 2008.
