)-- Bay View Golf Course will open the first FootGolf Course in Hawaii and introduces the new sport to the State. What is FootGolf and how is it played? FootGolf is a combination of the popular sports of soccer and golf. The game is played with a regulation #5 soccer ball at a golf course facility with 21-inch diameter cups. The rules largely correspond to the rules of golf. FootGolf as a game is played throughout the world in many different forms, but as a sport, it is regulated by the Federation for International FootGolf (FIFG).
Bay View Golf Course in Kaneohe, Hawaii joins over 300 golf courses nationwide in becoming the first FootGolf Course in the State of Hawaii. The Bay View FootGolf course will be a Par 34 nine hole course with 1394 yard length for play and will be part of the American FootGolf League. Bay View is offering introductory weekday Kamaaina rate for 2015 of $11.00 per 9 hole round for anyone interested in playing FootGolf. Ohana rate for group of 4 will start at $30.00 and Groups rates of 12 or more are available. FootGolf requires one soccer ball per person. Ball rentals are also available.
