Cameron Village Welcomes Southern Season

Southern Season scored a holiday success with a pop up store in the Village and has now announced a permanent location with an invitation to indulge your senses with all of Southern Season’s culinary offerings.

Raleigh, NC, February 05, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Southern Season is set to become a permanent fixture in Raleigh’s Cameron Village. Southern Season’s new location will be in the same space as their successful holiday pop-up, pending a huge renovation. The new store will be known as Southern Season Cameron Village. “It will be a culinary hub for Raleigh,” said Lynne Worth, Vice President, Retail Leasing & Property Management, “Southern Season is the premiere destination for specialty foods and products and we are pleased to host their first Raleigh location.”

“Southern Season will bring a full complement of products and services to Cameron Village,” continued Worth. “Wine tastings, prepared foods, and chef demonstrations will all be part of the new Raleigh site. We know our shoppers will be thrilled about having Southern Season so conveniently available to them.”

Raleigh shoppers will get to enjoy all that Southern Season offers—on a slightly smaller scale. The new Cameron Village will be approximately 5,000 square feet, compared to 60,000 in Chapel Hill.

Founded in 1975, Southern Season prides itself on offering unique, high-quality food and kitchen items to customers. It is a foodie’s paradise with exciting and innovative products from local to international vendors offered by a knowledgeable and friendly staff. The company has won over 100 customer and critic awards and has been featured in the New York Times, Travel + Leisure and Southern Living, as well as on the Food Network. Said Worth, “It’s a perfect fit. Southern Season is the high-end culinary retailer in the South and we are delighted to make them a permanent part of the Cameron Village community.”
