Anti-discrimination and harassment training for employees now available online.
Syosset, NY, February 06, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Portnoy, Messinger, Pearl & Associates, Inc. (PMP) announces the launch of its e-learning program, “Recognizing Discrimination and Harassment in the Workplace.” E-Learning is an innovative and cost-effective way for organizations to train employees through the use of web-based, interactive videos.
“In today’s litigious society, companies need tools to protect themselves,” said PMP President, Mark Portnoy. “Employee and manager training on recognizing and preventing harassment and discrimination is a critical initiative for organizations. We are excited to launch our new employee e-learning program that not only educates and builds awareness but also helps employers diminish their exposure to EEOC charges and lawsuits. We will also be launching e-learning for supervisors and managers in just a few months.”
For decades, PMP has offered on-site, comprehensive training to organizations of all sizes and industries. E-learning is an alternative that allows training to be completed in a self-paced environment and can be integrated into the on-boarding process for new employees. PMP recommends all employees be mandated to participate in the 60-minute e-learning program and provides reports that track the progress of the staff to ensure course completion.
