Kitchen Tune-Up Awards Project of the Year to Charlotte Franchise

Aberdeen, SD, February 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Kitchen Tune-Up, the leading kitchen and bath remodeling franchise, has awarded Tom & Debi Taube, franchise owners in Charlotte, North Carolina, with the prestigious Project of the Year Award.

The honor was presented at Kitchen Tune-Up’s annual convention on January 14th in Las Vegas. To qualify for this award, a franchise must have won a Project of the Month award in the previous year. The projects are then voted on by the full franchise system. In addition to system recognition, the Taube’s also receive an all expense paid cruise.

The project involved installing new dark cherry cabinets. The low ceiling near the sink area was raised to match the rest of the room. The original island was small, so a larger one was installed to allow for seating. The new island also includes storage areas and striking granite countertops.

Factors looked at in judging include how impressive or dramatic a change was achieved and what unique features were used.
