Los Angeles, CA, November 15, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles will take to the Alex Theatre stage on December 14-16, 2007 for their Annual Holiday extravaganza, “Holidays LA”. At once familiar — yet always different — this year’s Holiday spectacular is a blend of cultures and styles, which can only be found in Los Angeles and presented with the flare, camp and class, that is the Gay Men’s Chorus.

“Every holiday season has one outstanding event that stands above the typical fare – year after year that event has been the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles’ Holiday concert,” said Hywel Sims, Chorus Executive Director. “Our shows are always funny and poignant with a hint of magic and this year’s “Holidays LA” is no exception.”

The upcoming production is not just a celebration of Christmas, it’s Navidad, and Hanukkah, and Kwaanza all rolled into one spectacularly staged and performed variety event. The production will feature entirely new choreography set against a host of Holiday favorites as well as Los Angeles composer Morten Lauridsen’s breathtaking O Magnum Mysterium and selections from Conrad Susa’s Christmas in the Southwest will be some outstanding moments in this year’s concerts.

Also, new this season is the Chorus’ Assistant Artistic Director, Dominic Gregorio. A doctorial student at the University of Southern California, Dominic is thrilled to be a part of GMCLA: “I appreciate the fact that GMCLA is such a mission oriented organization.
