On behalf of D. Russell Taylor, President and CEO of RSI Bank, Ann Zwiebel Revaitis, Executive Vice President, presented a donation in early February to Krystal R. Canady, Chief Executive Officer of The Gateway Family YMCA at the Rahway Branch, 1564 Irving Street, Rahway.
“We are grateful to RSI Bank for their dedication to our community and their strong support of our YMCA and the families we serve,” stated Krystal R. Canady, CEO of The Gateway Family YMCA. “Providing financial assistance for additional programs in Rahway enables us to assist preschoolers and their caregivers in gaining a necessary advantage in preparation for school, for members of all ages to develop healthy habits that can last a lifetime and for children to gain confidence and socialization in a safe, secure environment.”
The Y is more than a gym. It’s a cause. From Exercise to Education, from Health to Housing, from Volleyball to Volunteerism, from Preschool to Preventive Health, the Y doesn’t just strengthen bodies– it strengthens people, families and communities. “We rely on the support of the community to enable us to continue to provide financial assistance for the services our neighbors so greatly need,” stated Melynda A. Mileski, EVP/COO of The Gateway Family YMCA. “Community partners such as RSI Bank allow us to provide programs and services to a larger population who may not have had an opportunity to benefit otherwise.”
The Gateway Family YMCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, health and community service organization of caring staff and volunteers dedicated to strengthening the foundations of community and stands For Youth Development, For Healthy Living and For Social Responsibility.
