Affiniton Turns to Crowdfunding Site Indiegogo to Expand Awareness of Lyme Disease and ELYMENATE the Misinformation

Two Affiniton executives had Lyme Disease for more than 8 years before being diagnosed. They made it their mission to ELYMENATE the unawareness of Lyme and ELYMENATE the misinformation surrounding Lyme. The past 3 years they've exhibited at shows and events in order to raise the awareness. Now they'd like to add 10 additional people who will man mobile Lymenade Stands in their own areas and have turned to crowdfunding site Indiegogo to raise funds to build those Stands.

Williamsport, PA, March 04, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Affiniton, LLC today launched its ELYMENATE campaign on crowdfunding site Indiegogo to raise funds to build 10 additional Lymenade Stands in order to expand the awareness of Lyme Disease.

Two of Affiniton’s executives, Sherry Bender and Ronald Lassiter II, had Lyme Disease for more than eight years before finally being diagnosed. Doctors diagnosed everything from migraines to acid reflux to IBS or celiac disease and Lyme wasn’t even on their radar. After a naturopathic doctor recognized the symptoms, diagnosed the Lyme Disease, and provided treatment, Sherry and Ronald made it their mission to not only come up with an early warning system for Lyme, but to raise awareness.

Over the past three years, Sherry and Ronald have exhibited at various sportsman shows, fairs and events talking with thousands of people who share their own stories, share their frustrations, and share information. In order to expand the awareness, the 10 additional Lymenade Stands will be coordinated in areas across the US as Lyme is epidemic across the Nation, not only the East Coast.

Affiniton is also on the lookout for 10 additional individuals who are interested in manning the Lymenade Stands in their own areas. Interested individuals can express their interest by contacting Affiniton directly.
