Accretive Health Employees Partner with Windy City Habitat for Humanity

Accretive Helping Hands, the not-for-profit organization led by Accretive Health employees, recently partnered with Habitat for Humanity by sending volunteers to work on a build site in Chicago’s West Pullman neighborhood.

Chicago, IL, March 04, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Windy City Habitat for Humanity serves families and communities in the Chicago area by constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes. Last week, Accretive Helping Hands, the not-for-profit organization led by Accretive Health employees, partnered with Habitat for Humanity by sending volunteers to work on a build site in Chicago’s West Pullman neighborhood.

Dressed for the frigid weather, the Accretive Helping Hands team spent the day painting, tiling and installing cabinets. Working with Habitat for Humanity’s construction team, the group worked quickly to prepare the home for a family in need.

“I really appreciate our Accretive Health employees taking the time to participate and help make this event a success,” said Bhavna Deole, an Accretive Health manager and a member of Accretive Helping Hands’ Board. “Working together, we can continue to make a difference in the Chicago community.”
