Mercedes Remote Starter with User Programmable Features

An Industry First, User Can Activate Features Via Steering Wheel Buttons

Denver, CO, March 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Comfort Electronics, Ltd, a veteran in European automotive electronics, is releasing a major software upgrade to its existing cliMATE line of an aftermarket Mercedes remote start modules.

The new release will solve the common problem, where necessary product features are only adjustable at the remote start module manufacturer or at the shop of a professional installer. It is often inconvenient for the Mercedes owner to find the time to drive to a shop and wait for the adjustment to be done.

The problem is solved by enabling the car owner to communicate with the cliMATE module by using the Mercedes steering wheel buttons and by displaying the User Menu on the Mercedes instrument cluster display.

Anyone is now able effortlessly to get information about cliMATE® such as software and hardware version; how many optional long range Radio Remotes are paired to it; how long the engine will be running after remote start; user can select own starting button sequence like Lock-Lock-Lock; turn the indicator lights blinking after remote start On or Off; disable the engine hood checking if the Mercedes doesn't have one; and even pair cliMATE® with additional long range radio remotes.
