Ask the Experts: Award-Winning Hair Salon Will Take Questions, Offer Tips & Techniques on Website

Interactive feature is good business and gratifying.

Raleigh, NC, November 21, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Samuel Cole Salon, a high-end hair salon in North Raleigh, is about to launch a new feature on its website (http://www.samuelcole.com) that will allow visitors to post questions about hair care and styling, make-up application or other beauty concerns and receive the answers from the salon’s team of award-winning stylists.

The feature, entitled “Ask The Experts,” will provide on-going useful information so visitors are motivated to keep coming back. It will also underscore the salon’s stylists as experts in their field.

Those are the pure-business reasons. To salon owners Jack and Joelle Ray, there’s also a softer side.

“It’s very gratifying to teach people how to style their hair themselves,” Joelle said. “It’s always rewarding to hear someone say “Look! I did it!” And they look fabulous every day, not just salon day.”

“Ask The Experts” will provide an email address where visitors can send their questions. The stylists’ responses will come in a Q&A form.

To get the dialogue started, Joelle Ray will first address a concern she’s heard hundreds of times, she said. “Clients say, ‘I spend so much time every morning fixing my hair and still fall short of the lasting results I want.’ Then they’ll ask, ‘How do I get the most out of my styling efforts?’ I think this will be a good question to start with.”

The Rays will have various Samuel Cole Salon stylists answer the questions. They are confident in each team member’s expertise, they said, because every stylist, no matter how accomplished, continues to receive regular, in-salon professional training to further his or her professional development. These classes and workshops are mandatory in keeping with the Rays’ commitment to provide on-going education for their stylists.

Samuel Cole Salon, located at 240 Newton Road, was featured this summer in both Salon Today and American Salon magazines. Behind The Chair, an online magazine, also interviewed Joelle Ray for her expertise advice to new stylists. Samuel Cole Salon was recently named one of the Top Ten Hair Salons and Best Salon for Color and Highlights in Citysearch's Best of the Triangle readers’ poll. In 2006, and received Metro magazine’s “Metro Bravo” award for Best Salon in the Triangle in 2006.

The Samuel Cole Salon website was designed by Killer Creative Group in Raleigh (http://www.killercreative.net). “Ask The Experts” will launch within the month. Visitors do not have to be current salon clients to submit questions.
