For the first and only time since Raleigh’s Cameron Village Subway closed in 1984, music and dancing will return to the iconic music venue of the 70’s and 80’s. One night. One time. One experience. People who experienced the Underground of the 1970s in the Cameron Village Subway will be excited to have the opportunity to revisit the musical heyday of earlier decades. More recent relocators and younger Raleigh-ites might be only be familiar with the urban legends of Raleigh’s cavernous ghost of a musical past; but now have a singular chance to go underground and return to an era of live musical performance and high energy nightlife for an extraordinary last time. One night access to the 20,000 square foot space beneath Cameron Village will feature live music by CRUSH, featuring all the classic hits from the seventies and eighties. Plus, party-goers will enjoy the exceptional spring runway show-- a fast-paced, high fashion event choreographed to live music and presented in the style of New York fashion week. The inimitable opportunity to return to one of the amazing venues that housed the explosive growth of rock music will never be repeated.
