Local Woman Discovers the Beauty of Aligning Business with Purpose with Pangea Organics

Grand Rapids, MI, April 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Nikki O’Dea lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is a full time emergency room nurse, wife, and a mother. She is also helping to improve the lives of women in her community and do her part to preserve the planet by building a business with purpose. O’Dea sells natural, organic, sustainably sourced skincare products that are good for the body and good for the earth while also mentoring other women to build their own business and create the lifestyle and freedom they desire.

It all started in October of 2013 when O’Dea was searching for skincare products that would be safe to use during her pregnancy. She heard about a company called Pangea Organics that used only pure, safe, natural and organic ingredients in their products and fell in love with them after one use. She also discovered an opportunity to earn money simply by sharing the products with others and decided to become an independent business owner with the company.

“I never dreamed it would turn into the career that it has. I am a nurse by trade and am stuck working the night shift, which means long hours and lots of time away from my family, much more than I would like,” says O’Dea. She explains, “This is changing as I have already been able to stop working extra shifts to make ends meet. I know in the near future I will be able to work only when I choose thanks to the financial freedom of running my own business.”

Not only is her business improving her life and her family’s, but O’Dea is also helping other women change their lives as well. One of those women is Jessica O’Neil who has been working with O’Dea for over a year. During this time, O’Neil has grown as a person and a businesswoman through O’Dea’s mentoring and the support of the community of independent business owners.

“When I first started I was extremely shy and couldn’t speak to anyone without turning red,” says O’Neil. "Today I have a new found confidence in myself. I realized that I owed it to myself to do things for me that made me feel good. I love getting out meeting new people and inspiring them to nurture their own vitality."

By helping the women who join her team connect with their personal purpose and master business skills like networking, coaching and marketing, O’Dea is building up women and building a business. “We are very focused on self-growth and building up the women in our communities,” says O’Dea. “I value being an extension of a company that is about more than just great skincare. As an organization, we choose everyday, with every decision, to live with integrity and honor. We are a great example to the world.”

On Saturday, April 11th from 10am to 2:30pm, Nikki O’Dea and Jessica O’Neil will be holding a Powering Self-Worth Workshop and Pangea Connects event in Grand Rapids, MI. The morning session will focus on teaching attendees how to awaken their individual self-worth and create the life they desire. Lunch will be served followed by an introduction to the Pangea community and an opportunity to experience some of the company’s amazing skincare products.

“This event is about connecting with women in the Grand Rapids area and supporting women who are interested in learning more about becoming part of a wonderful and inspiring community committed to nurturing vitality,” explains O’Dea.

Attendance to the event costs $15. Seating is limited so registration is requested by visiting
