Siem Reap, Cambodia, April 08, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- On Grasshopper Adventures' new Angkor & the Villages tour ride hidden trails and back roads past ancient temples, then spend the night in a comfortable and charming, village location.
For those who want to go beyond the main temples of Angkor and explore not only far-flung ruins, but also the peaceful life of the Cambodian countryside, this tour will introduce you to a side of this wonderful and welcoming country passed over by the majority of visitors.
Starting with a sunrise over Angkor Wat, and continuing to the famous temples of the Bayon and Ta Prohm, riders then strike out to explore the trails and paths of the forest to some of the lesser known ruins, before pedalling north to the overnight rest stop: a tasteful and modest villa, set on a farm in a traditional village.
The second and final day of the tour takes riders to the wonderful Hindu sites of Banteay Srei and Kbal Spean, with its nearby wildlife conservation centre, before returning to Siem Reap by vehicle.
