Vloggedin: the New Social Career Site

Charlotte, NC, April 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- In three simple steps candidates can stand out from and stack of resumes and recruiters can stop shifting through faceless candidates. This new Charlotte startup, VloggedIn, a social video site where people can record up-to four 30 second videos, attach their resume and send their VloggedIn ID to recruiters/employers.

1. Create VloggedIn video.
2. Send VloggedIn I.D to employers.
3.Get viewed. It’s as simple as that.

Most people “adjust” their resumes to look good because it’s all they are being judged on. Stephen Pye, Co-Founder of VloggedIn, has experienced this first hand with various startups as have many other business owners having employees “expand their roles on their resumes.” VloggedIn started to solve those exact problems, to give people a chance to not only be judged on their resume but also their personality, while saving recruiters and HR departments time.

VloggedIn has recognized the importance employers pay to an applicants personality, communication skills and appearance though these important attributes could never be represented in a traditional Resume, they therefore created a Video Resume service for job hunters that in turn enables recruiters to see an applicant's "first impression." VloggedIn offers employers a glimpse into the candidate prior to even the first phone interview.

"Digital disruption is affecting nearly every sector of the economy, and if it hasn't reached your industry, McQuivey VP & Principal Analyst at Forrester Research has no doubt it soon will." Technology is changing and disrupting the way we do everything. VloggedIn has created yet another disruption in how applicants can be seen and how employers can pre-screen candidates.
