Texas, New Mexico Riders Help Kids with Brain Tumors

Asheville, NC, April 29, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Motorcyclists who attended the Albuquerque and Houston Ride for Kids events over the weekend raised $204,491 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

More than 450 motorcyclists gathered on April 26 to honor local brain tumor survivors Andres, Ceasar, Garrett, Javier, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Malcolm, Nick, Noah, Octavio, Sage, Tobin and Trent.

These kids are Ride for Kids Stars, and they greatly appreciate the support of motorcyclists. “Andres will soon have more surgery, and going through that, what all of you do means so much to us, thank you!” said the Albuquerque Star’s mother, Claudia Rubio.

Motorcyclists around the country join Ride for Kids to make a difference in the lives of children fighting one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancer. The donations they collect fund the PBTF’s medical research and family support programs.

The events are still collecting donations online at www.rideforkids.org. Fundraisers will receive incentive credit through May 26.
