Join the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation for Brain Tumor Awareness Month

Asheville, NC, May 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Brain Tumor Awareness Month in May honors Stars like Brieanan Jerome, who was diagnosed when she was 10 months old.

Every day in May on social media, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation's Starlight stories will shine a light on someone affected by a childhood brain tumor.

In the days leading up to Mother’s Day on May 10, the foundation will focus on the importance of moms who care for children with brain tumors. During that time, Stars will also write about what their mothers mean to them.

Each Starlight story will also include the opportunity to make a donation to help eliminate the challenges of childhood brain tumors.

Here’s how to help:

Use the foundation's multicolored awareness ribbon or star logo as profile pictures on social media
Share Starlight stories and BTAM posts on social media with the hashtags #BTAM, #mayandeveryday and #curethekids
Make a donation to make a difference
Set up a fundraising page in honor or memory of a loved one
Share your brain tumor journey
Encourage legislators to support funding for pediatric brain tumor research
