3 Young Colorado Entrepreneurs Launch Solar Tech Project on Indiegogo, Raise $6,000 in First 3 Days

Denver, CO, May 03, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Colorado startup Hemera Project launched a crowdfunding campaign on April 17th to fund the mass manufacture of their first product, the QBAND, a solar smartphone charger you wear on your wrist. By passively charging its internal battery with solar panels in ambient light, the QBAND gives up to two hours of extra phone use when you need it most. The QBAND is water-resistant, comes in a variety of sizes and colors, and has a built-in charge cable so you can connect your phone directly to any USB port for a longer charge without carrying extra cables.

As part of this campaign, Hemera Project is partnering with Nokero’s “Shine Through Ebola” initiative to deliver solar lamps to Ebola survivors in West Africa through Project C.U.R.E. For every QBAND purchased, Nokero will send one solar lamp to a family in need. These lamps will replace the dirty, dangerous, and expensive kerosene currently being used in homes for lighting. To preorder a QBAND and help bring Clean Energy to Everyone, go to Hemera Project’s Indiegogo page: http://igg.me/at/QBAND.
