June 14-16 in Washington, D.C.; Conference Will Focus on Regulatory Concerns and New Trends in Advertising, Digital Content, and Revenue

New York, NY, May 16, 2015 --( The Association of Business Information & Media Companies (ABM) – a division of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the leading association representing the software and digital content industries – today announced that the ABM & Information Industry Summit 2015 will be held from June 14- 16 in Washington, D.C., and will explore how technology continues to transform the media and information industry. The new event merges ABM’s annual conference with SIIA’s CISD Information Industry Summit to better serve the media and information industry.

Executives from Dow Jones MarketWatch, Cision, Thomson Reuters, and more will discuss how the industry continues to evolve as technology innovates and disrupts traditional business models. Federal Trade Commissioner Julie Brill will discuss the FTC’s role in privacy and consumer protection issues. Providing a special focus on healthcare, the conference will also feature executives from IBM Watson and The New England Journal of Medicine presenting how their partnership serves healthcare professionals by putting customer data in an accessible and actionable format.

ABM/IIS 2015 will also feature the following keynote speakers:
