Two C Pack Systems Goes Green

Nashua, NH, November 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- A new agreement announced today between Two C Pack Systems and Community Energy, Inc. commits Two C Pack to purchase clean, renewable wind power equal to 100% of its energy use. This clean energy choice will be supplied by wind energy marketer and developer Community Energy. According to the E.P.A., Two C Pack is the first manufacturing business based in New Hampshire to source 100% of its energy needs through renewable sources.

Two C Pack Systems, a packaging solutions company based in Nashua, NH, will buy 1,664,000 kilowatt hours (kWhs) of renewable energy. The environmental benefit from this purchase is equal to offsetting approximately 2.2 million pounds of carbon dioxide per year, the impact of which is equivalent to planting more than 920 acres of trees each year or taking 214 cars off the road each year.

With this purchase of renewable energy Two C Pack has been recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency and has gained membership into its Green Power Leadership Club. In addition, TCP is an active member of the Nashua, NH Green Team whose mission is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase energy efficiency, decrease air pollution, and reduce energy expenditures for the City of Nashua".
