)-- The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon visits Apollo Elementary School, 801 SW 9th St., Aledo, Ill., on May 27 when the balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed by the RE/MAX real estate network in northern Illinois.
The more than 370 students at Apollo School will gather on the school grounds at 9 a.m. to learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved. They also will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions. The 75-foot-tall balloon envelope will be fully inflated, weather permitting.
The RE/MAX balloon’s visit to Apollo is sponsored by Starr Zook, broker/owner of RE/MAX on Track in Aledo.
Also on hand to enhance the occasion will be the RE/MAX Soaring Home Balloon, a special-shape inflatable complete with house, children and pets that has become a crowd favorite.
