NMBC and Diverse Visions Group Sign Strategic Alliance Agreement to Benefit NMBC Members & Other Small Business Owners

New York, NY, May 29, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The National Minority Business Council and Diverse Visions Group have signed a strategic alliance agreement as of May 6th to benefit NMBC members & other small business owners.

Founded in 2006, the DVG team is comprised of former minority corporate executives, board members and entrepreneurs from companies and organizations such as General Motors, The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, The National Minority Supplier Development Council, Coca-Cola Company, the National Minority Business Council, the New York-New Jersey Supplier Development Council, the Institute for Supply Management, and others.

Some of these benefits include: health and dental insurance, truck and car rentals, hotel and legal services to name a few. All National Minority Business Council members will enjoy a 10% discount on Diverse Visions Group’s current $100 annual membership fee.

The strategic alliance is an example of Diverse Visions Groups’ goal of creating a unified MBE community, with its own voice heard loud and clear, to enhance the prospects for increased procurement opportunities for its businesses with corporate America and command the respect that is deserved.

“We are extremely pleased to join forces with DVG to provide additional benefits and opportunities for advancement to the members of both organizations,” says John F. Robinson, President & CEO of the NMBC. Ed Diaz, DVG’s Founder & Chairman, seconds Mr. Robinson’s sentiment by stating that, “such an alliance is an example of how the vision of a unified MBE community can be brought to fruition.”
