Los Angeles, CA, June 01, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- The Buzzerie has launched a $5,000 crowd-funding campaign on Kickstarter in order to develop a high-end retail line for women who use cannabis. If fully funded, The Buzzerie intends to produce fashion and household accessories for women of all ages. The intended products will help women show their support for cannabis use and support nationwide efforts to decriminalize and legalize its use.
According to Gallup, 6% of American women use cannabis, that's almost 10 million women. In addition, women direct 75% of household spending. However, the cannabis industry still targets men. The Buzzerie offers a departure from the "rasta" and "ganja" images and targets women who work, have kids, have spouses, pay bills, volunteer, cook, love, and yes, smoke. The Buzzerie is less about stoners, more about sophistication!
The Buzzerie firmly believes in the decriminalization and legalization of marijuana nationwide. For this reason, The Buzzerie intends to donate a portion of all proceeds to the Drug Policy Alliance, in support of their important work towards these goals.
