Quincy, MA, June 08, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- At Prism Energy Services, we are always looking for different ways to support the communities where we live and work,” says Wendy Simmons, president and CEO of Prism Energy Services. “Our employees started this initiative all on their own, and I’m so proud to work with such a conscientious group of people.”
The Eversource Walk for Children’s Hospital, which will take place on Sunday, June 14 at DCR's Baxter Park at Assembly Row in Somerville, offers walkers the option for a 2- and 7-mile pledge. The 7-mile pledge begins at 10:00 A.M., and the 2-mile pledge begins at 11:00 A.M.
“We can’t wait to lace up and join the thousands of other teams and individuals who are there to support the Children’s Hospital,” says William McFadden, marketing manager for Prism Energy Services. “More than half of our team is participating in the 7-mile pledge.”
The Eversource Walk for Children’s Hospital begins the second phase of Prism Energy Services’ year-long philanthropic mission for 2015. The third stage will begin later in the year with a coat drive. Based on our results from their canned food drive earlier in the year, they have high expectations.
