Sheraton Imperial Hotel Modernizes Its Wireless Networks with Cisco


Local Hotel Partners with Clearview Networks to Deliver Faster, More Reliable Internet for Guests with Multiple Devices

Durham, NC, June 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center, the ultimate guest and dining experience with more than 34,000 square feet of meeting space, deployed substantial upgrades to its wireless network, which is now designed to better meet the business needs of its guests, including faster and more reliable Internet capabilities across multiple devices.

Since deploying the new network, the number of connected devices and the amount of traffic on the network, have doubled.

Clearview Networks, which specializes in offering network solutions for the hospitality industry, worked with the Sheraton Imperial to deploy over 115 Cisco Aironet 700W Series Access Points. These dual-radio, 802.11n-based access points can be mounted on the wall over existing data outlets. Ideal for hospitality businesses that are looking to enhance the guest experience with Wi-Fi, the Cisco Aironet 700W Series can handle complex wireless access demands by many guests and across multiple devices, and provide cost-savings through seamless integration with existing networks.
