Family Promise to Collaborate with Social Venture Partners

A new community partnership will address strategic initiatives at a Denver nonprofit focused on serving homeless families.

Denver, CO, June 12, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Family Promise of Greater Denver recently partnered with the Denver chapter of Social Venture Partners (SVP) to focus on programs and future growth.

SVP works with community nonprofits to “provide high-level, strategic consultation in areas such as board governance, marketing, fund development, and business strategy, working shoulder to shoulder with nonprofits to achieve the change they want to see in the community.”

The Family Promise partnership is addressing fund development, program assessment and board growth.

“We are honored to be connected to such as a supportive force in our community,” said Jolynn Snyder, executive director at Family Promise. “SVP brings an entire team of experts and resources to the table, helping us strengthen our foundation and serve even more families experiencing homelessness.”

The collaboration with SVP will extend over the coming months.

“Family Promise is helping so many families reach sustainable independence and a brighter future,” said Pat Landrum, executive director of SVP Denver. “We are excited to aid the nonprofit’s evaluation, growth and future planning.”
