Centurion Alliance Inc Makes a Difference from Fort Campbell to Nepal

Centurion Alliance Inc., born out of a desire to help military members find order in the realm of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), continues making progress with boots on the ground in Nepal following the earthquake disaster. Centurion also introduced the “MoralKevlar” program, copyright R.T. Rodriguez 2015, to its offering.

Hopkinsville, KY, June 21, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Centurion Alliance, a multi-faceted nonprofit organization, works to support the military through programs such as “Moral Kevlar.” Developed by Ray Rodriguez, MMH, JD, the Moral Kevlar program prepares service members for the traumatic events they may face and offers support to service members suffering from PTSD. Designed to help the individual understand and develop their moral mechanisms, the operating system on which moral rules (ethics) operate, “MoralKevlar” helps create a wall of protection against the causes of moral injury.

In addition, Centurion supports organizations working to prevent human trafficking and provides “boots on the ground” resources where needed. Recently, one of their board members returned from supporting the disaster response effort in Nepal. Greg Wark, one of founding members of Centurion Alliance, worked with local groups to provide relief and aid in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that resulted in over 8500 deaths and many more wounded or missing. Centurion Alliance’s commitment to disaster response in Nepal supports the organization’s continued efforts to offer relief in that country and the overall region. During this mission, Greg had the privileged of helping a few Marines suffering grief following the loss of some of their own in a helicopter crash.

At home in the U.S., Centurion Alliance impacts both active duty service members and veterans through their operations at Fort Campbell, KY and US Marine and Navy installations in the San Diego, CA area. Centurion’s focus on building “MoralKevlar” within the individual allows service men and women to strengthen their personal moral and offers the military an additional tool in their battle against the threat of PTSD.

From a hands-on perspective, Centurion continues to develop an equine therapy program near Hopkinsville, KY. This program allows soldiers to create connections with horses to; promote physical and emotional growth; recovery in those with PTSD, TBI ( traumatic brain injury), and offer soldiers returning from a deployment the needed break from their “fast pace” military world before reentering their “fast paced” world at home.
