)-- Human Growth Foundation (HGF) today announced that Eli Lilly and Company is the lead sponsor of its HGF Family Day, an event that aims to increase the awareness of growth disorders and the critical importance of early diagnosis and treatment. HGF Family Day will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida.

Research shows that growth hormone deficiency has been identified in approximately 1 in every 3,800 children.
HGF Family Day kicks off National Growth Awareness Week and will feature morning workshops, including: how to obtain medical insurance reimbursement, coping with short stature, and the latest developments in growth disorders.
