Elizabeth, NJ, July 01, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Elberon Development Group is partnering with The Gateway Family YMCA to provide $50,000 in funding to further the Y’s cause through programs and services for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Anne Evans Estabrook, Chairman and Dave Gibbons, President of Elberon Development Group, presented a donation in early April to Krystal R. Canady, Chief Executive Officer of The Gateway Family YMCA.

“This contribution provides tremendous assistance to the Y in maintaining and expanding our programs particularly in the area of housing. We are extremely grateful for our relationship with Elberon Development Group and their dedication to our community,” stated Krystal R. Canady, CEO of The Gateway Family YMCA. “Through the financial support of our community partners, the Y is able to continue to enrich and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.”

The Y is more than a gym. It’s a cause. From Exercise to Education, from Health to Housing, from Volleyball to Volunteerism, from Preschool to Preventive Health, the Y doesn’t just strengthen bodies– it strengthens people, families and communities. “Annual Campaign donations help to ensure that everyone in the community has access to vital community programs and resources,” stated Melynda A. Mileski, EVP/COO of The Gateway Family YMCA. “Community partners such as Elberon Development Group allow us to provide programs and services to a larger population who may not have had an opportunity to benefit otherwise.”

“We are happy to assist The Gateway Family YMCA in their efforts to serve the local community, especially through the housing programs at the Elizabeth Branch,” stated Anne Evans Estabrook, Chairman of Elberon Development Group. The Gateway Family YMCA provides residents with Emergency Shelter, Transitional and Permanent Housing. “The Elberon Development Group feels the partnership with The Gateway Family YMCA is a unique way to help those in need, in our very community,” added Dave Gibbons, President of Elberon Development Group.
