Santa Ana, CA, December 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Holiday Trees to Strut Their Stuff in “Pageant of the Trees” Fundraiser

This holiday season, the art of tree decor will take on a new meaning during a “Pageant of the Trees” event sponsored by the Santa Ana College Foundation. From “Viva Las Vegas,” to Disney’s ‘Pirates of the Caribbean,” and the award winning play “The Color Purple,” “attire” of the trees spans a wide range of themes. The trees, paired with exciting additions including a weekend getaway in Lake Arrowhead, a journey through Santa Barbara Wine Country and even high-tech instruments like the iPod Nano, will be auctioned off in this sold-out annual fundraiser to be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 6 p.m.

“Financial support is a vital component of the services that we provide in helping students with their educational experience, said Christina Romero, Director, Santa Ana College Foundation.” “This signature event for Santa Ana College allows us to maximize that assistance to students as ninety-five cents of every dollar raised goes back to fund needs including textbooks, scholarships and programs.”

The event will be hosted by title sponsor First American Corporation and will be held at their headquarters located at 1 First American Way in Santa Ana, CA. Attendees will the opportunity to bid on the trees which have sold for as high as $800.00 in past years.
