Advancing Cyber Security at DoD and DHS

Defense Strategies Institute is please to announce it will be hosting a senior leadership symposium to discuss critical cyber security issues within the federal government. The Symposium will take place August 4-5, 2015 in Alexandria, VA.

Alexandria, VA, July 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Defense Strategies Institute's Cyber Security for National Defense Symposium will provide senior level speakers and delegates with an opportunity to discuss the way forward in cyber security at the Department of Defense and across the federal government.

ADM Mike Rogers along with senior DoD cyber leaders will discuss the DoD's Cyber Security Strategy and the most urgent needs for the Department. "DSI is honored that US Cyber Command will participate in this important event. Government, academia, and industry partners are eager to hear how they can support major initiatives that will improve the security of DoD Networks and enhance operations in the Cyber Domain. This Symposium brings the right people together in one place to solve urgent challenges," stated the director of this year's event, Thomas Engelman.

"We are also thrilled to have Dr. Andy Ozment provide an assessment of DHS cyber policy and initiatives to combat urgent challenges such as the recent breach of OPM personnel files," Engelman stated.

The event will be limited in size to allow for dialogue between delegates and speakers and is sure to generate positive solutions to difficult challenges in the Cyber Domain.
