)-- Friends of HCAS, Inc., (FoHCAS)a 501(c)3 non-profit organization announced their inaugural tennis tournament and fundraiser to be held September 26 & 27, 2015, at Buckhorn Springs Tennis & Swim Club, in Valrico, FL. All proceeds to benefit FoHCAS.
The tournament consists of mens and ladies doubles and mixed doubles and all USTA rules and the code will apply. Deadline to enter for standard registration is Sept 13 and for late registration through Sept. 22. Sign up forms are on FoHCAS' website (www.friendsofhcas.org/events).

"Without the assistance of FoHCAS, through donations, most of the animals we assist would have been euthanized,” said Jackie Osborne, FoHCAS’s president. “We know once the community is made aware of the challenges these at-risk shelter animals face, they will support what FoHCAS does. The tennis tournament & fundraiser will allow FoHCAS to continue to say yes to assisting and yes to saving more shelter animals' lives!”
Friends of Hillsborough County Animal Services, Inc. (FoHCAS) assists adopters of the most needy animals in our county shelter by financially helping with the cost of treatable medical issues above what our tax dollars are able to pay. FOHCAS has been assisting the animals of Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center (formerly Animal Services) since 2012. FoHCAS runs solely through donations and receives no government funding.
