Jason Morgan, Director of Global Health and Wellness at GE Healthcare Will Speak at 7th Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress

Orlando, FL, July 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- To bring the latest information and real world information through case studies to attendees, the Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress announces Jason Morgan, the Director of Global Health and Wellness at GE Healthcare, as a speaker for the upcoming 2015 taking place September 27 – 30 in Orlando, FL.

Jason will speak on the topic “Equipping Your Greatest Wellness Resource—Your Evangelists” with Jane Peacock, Vice President of Innovation of ShapeUp. This session explores the unsung heroes of workplace wellness, the evangelists. Understanding this critical group of — typically volunteer — wellness enthusiasts is essential to any wellness leader’s success. These players are not only influencers to the larger employee population, but they often lead corporate and cultural change within an organization.

As the Director of Global Health and Wellness at GE Healthcare, Jason is responsible for developing programs and policies that support and foster a culture of health for the 55,000 employees and family members within GE Healthcare. He has established a network of wellness champions spanning 30 countries and 120 different worksites. This diverse and cross-functional network of wellness champions serves an integral role in the communication and delivery of all global wellness programming.

Jason also serves on the Board of Directors for the Wellness Council of Wisconsin, where he provides strategic leadership and guidance to employers in the state.
