Asheville, NC, July 22, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Ride for Kids motorcyclists rode in three states to raise $392,428 for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation over the weekend.

Riders in Minnesota, New York and Wisconsin honored 27 brain tumor survivors on July 19: Alyona, Amanda, April, Beckett, Carra, Catrina, Connor, Dominic, Emily, Hunter, Jacob, Josh, Josh P., Josh Y., Katrina, Kelley, Kevin, Lilly, Mady, Molly, Paul, Rachelle, Rosie, Ryan Shannon, Tim and Vincent.

Motorcyclists from the Chicagoland and Wisconsin Ride for Kids events joined forces for the "Battle at the Border," meeting in a friendly competition at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wis.

Dr. Harry Whelan of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin attended the Battle at the Border event to support survivors. "We are making such great strides in developing better treatments for young people," Whelan said. "We are only able to do that because of your support."

Ride for Kids participants make a true difference in the lives of children fighting brain tumors. Their donations fund the PBTF's medical research and family support programs.

The events are still collecting donations online at www.rideforkids.org.
