Domaine Carneros’ Brut Rosé Cocktail "Bouquet of Rosé" Will be Featured at Bubble Lounge Locations on the East and West Coasts

San Francisco, CA, December 05, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Bubble Lounge (www.bubblelounge.com), an elegant Champagne and sparkling wine lounge, will be kicking off its inaugural After Work Fridays cocktail special by featuring the “Bouquet of Rosé,” made with Domaine Carneros Brut Rosé, at its New York and San Francisco locations. The Bubble Lounge is highlighting the cocktail’s distinctively festive and playful take on the pink sparkler beginning December 7th.

After Work Fridays (with the tagline “It's Friday and I am over it!”) are refreshing interludes between the busy work week and the beginning of a weekend of fun. Each Friday from 5pm-7pm, they will include drink specials, mixers, live music and DJs, as well as a weekly raffle for a magnum of Champagne. To add an extra twist to each evening, After Work Fridays will also feature CocktailSmarts questions to encourage revelers to explore the world of cocktails. A copy will be raffled for one lucky winner each week. CocktailSmarts is created by Smartsco (www.smartsco.com), creators of stylish games and guides which make it fun to learn about wine, food chocolate and more.

Domaine Carneros introduced its Brut Rosé Cuvee de la Pompadour to the national marketplace in Fall 2007, and has already received outstanding reviews since its release. The Rosé cocktail was created for the sparkler’s launch by cocktail maven and blogger, Natalie Bovis-Nelsen, better known as “The Liquid Muse.” Served in a martini glass, the cocktail is infused with rose nectar and rose water and topped with a sprig of lavender for a soft, elegant finish. Smart, sexy, and balanced, the cocktail reflects the sophisticated tastes of the modern Rosé drinker.

The Brut Rosé is marked by vivid wild strawberry, rose petal, peach, and apricot flavors and priced at a reasonable $35 per bottle. The pink bubbly should not be mistaken as a sweet wine, says Winemaker Eileen Crane, who has been crafting sparkling wines in California for over 30 years. The Domaine Carneros Brut Rosé is a true Brut, dry and crisp.

A perfect match for the sophistication of the Domaine Carneros Brut Rosé, The Bubble Lounge premiered in 1996 in New York City’s TriBeCa district and offers over 300 varieties of Champagnes and sparkling wines by the bottle, 25 by the glass. The lounge, which also features a location in downtown San Francisco, features a full bar with signature cocktails along with a recently developed menu of original small plates (menus vary from coast to coast) created by former Le Cirque Las Vegas executive chef Brian Konopka.

The Bouquet of Rosé cocktail will be served at the lounge’s After Work Fridays throughout December 2007 and January 2008. The cocktail will cost $10, and a portion of the proceeds of the initial events will go toward the Surfrider Foundation’s efforts to clean up the recent oil spill in the Bay Area (surfrider.org). The Brut Rosé will also be offered by the glass for $10. For more information on the Bubble Lounge visit www.bubblelounge.com.
